We build the entire structure — slab, frame, finishes — inside our Houston facility, then deliver it intact on air‑ride suspension. It's engineered for fifty years. It can still leave.
A conventional modular building arrives on a steel chassis or drops onto piers. Everyone who walks into it can tell. It reads as a stopgap — and then somehow stays fifteen years.
Permanent 2 Go is assembled in the opposite order. The concrete slab is cast and post-tensioned first, in our facility. The frame, envelope, mechanicals, and finishes are locked to that slab before the building ever moves. What leaves Houston isn't a box waiting for a foundation. It's a finished building that has never been separated from its own.
It meets or exceeds commercial and educational code and is engineered to stand for fifty years. And if the district redraws its boundaries, or the ground lease ends, or the need moves across town — it goes back on the rig.
The slab is poured flat in a climate-controlled bay and post-tensioned with high-strength steel cable. Tensioned concrete resists the flex that would crack a conventional slab, which is what lets the foundation double as a transport chassis.
Framing, envelope, mechanicals, and finish work go on indoors — no weather delays, no material sitting in the rain, inspections on a predictable schedule. Everything ties structurally into the concrete so the building travels as one body.
The structure rides on pneumatic air-ride suspension, which absorbs the road shock a steel-spring rig would pass straight into the walls. Drywall seams, ceiling grid, and fixtures arrive the way they left the floor.
Most sites need level grade or a stem-wall perimeter — not a crane pad and not weeks of disruption. The building is positioned, set down, and connected to utilities. Then it's open.
